Civic Engagement

I love to volunteer at the Florence-Lauderdale Animal Shelter. When volunteering here, my duties include socializing kittens and puppies, cleaning litter boxes and kennels, feeding animals, walking dogs, playing with cats, washing dishes, and washing bedding/towels. Donations are also a big part of keeping the FLAS running. The shelter is always accepting donations of cat and dog food, litter, toys, collars, leashes, and bedding. There is no shortage of work to be done at the shelter, and I love the opportunity to help wherever I can.
